Kalina & John {A Romantic Wedding in Springfield, Ohio}
From the bride: “My inspiration was romantic elegance. John and I wanted our day to be simple, elegant and fun. We played rock, paper, scissors to pick our color scheme and John won with red, black, and cream. We want everyone to enjoy the day with minimal stress and fuss. Our families and a lot of research made our day what it will be and we are so excited for everyone to be a part of this journey with us.”
Kalina contacted me last year about shooting her wedding in Springfield, Ohio and we were so excited to spend the day celebrating with her and John! They are such a sweet couple, and we loved getting to know their family and friends. It started off as a warm and sunny day, but a storm started rolling in around the time we were scheduled to shoot portraits! The bridal party as well as John and Kalina were champs, and we were able to get all of the pictures done in 15 minutes – right before the rain started pouring down! Thankfully, the storm cleared in time for a beautiful sparkler exit, after they had danced the night away ;) Excited to share some favorites with you all today!

Katie & Denny {A Classic Wedding in Cleveland, Ohio}
From Bride: “Denny and I are amazed and sometimes overwhelmed by the way God has brought us together. Our families knew one another during their high school days (Denny’s dad even dated my aunt!) So, we are overjoyed to be joining our families. Our wedding theme is drawn from Jeremiah 17:7-8, which illustrates a life that is securely rooted in Christ, drawing all that is needed from Him, and bearing good fruit for Him. The decor will be natural and woodsy :) We pray that all who come will hear the gospel and walk away with a bigger picture of who Christ is.”
Katie and Denny share such a sweet and beautiful love. It’s so obvious to anyone around them that they are meant for each other. The way they make each other laugh, and the smiles they bring to each others faces — especially when Denny saw his bride for the first time — is truly priceless. I was blown away by how many people came to celebrate their marriage – these two are loved by SO many people!! Katie is a teacher, and invited her students to come to the ceremony, and it was so sweet to see all of them waiting in line to congratulate Mrs. King after she walked down the aisle :) Although the day started off rainy, the clouds cleared for 10 minutes of bride and groom portraits, which we were thrilled about!! So excited to share those with you! Hope you enjoy this sneak peek into the King’s beautiful wedding day.
